As a Wheaton Illinois family photographer, there are SO many things to love about fall. Growing up in the midwest, the changing of the season was always one of mine and my friends and family’s favorite time of year. The fall is definitely, my favorite, with the colors changing in the leaves and everyone getting ready for cozy season and family time, there’s just this super cool energy in the air that I cannot get enough of.
Family Photography at Blackwell Forest Preserve
I love hosting my family sessions at Blackwell Forest Preserve in Wheaton for SO many reasons. The number one reason has to be though that there is SO much variety within the forest preserve. Between the lakes, the hills, the paths, and the treelines, there is so much to explore with your littles and so many scenic spaces throughout.
Sunset Family Session in Wheaton Illinois
I LOVED getting to see this family again, the last time I saw them they were actually, pregnant with their little! Prior to their session, I asked them a handful of questions to get to know this new form of their family. They let me know that they spend a lot of time chasing after their little boy and hoped I could document his energy and his laughter. He is a super happy kid, and literally just LOVES running, so it was super easy to document him in his element throughout the session!
One of my favorite things to do each fall is fill my weekdays with the family sessions of all of my past clients. I get to spend my time catching up with some of the people I love the most and I also get to continue documenting the stories of so many amazing people. I cannot wait for the next fall season when I can reconnect with all of my past clients and if you’re looking to book a family session this spring, head to my inquiry page for more information!
